Nike have dropped a new colourway on each of their extravagant futsal shoes. The FC247 collection has received another eccentric brush up as the swoosh continues to dominate the small sided game. You can get away with being a bit more experimental when it comes to 5-a-side and the latest FC247 range is for players looking to make an impression.
The Nike FC247 collection is geared for a variety of surfaces on which the game is played, with design innovations specific to respecting playing styles. The Elastico Finale II is engineered for Turf, the Bomba Finale II for court and the Lunar Gato II for the street. Each shoe has been given a summery makeover for you to rock in the small sided game this season.
Nike Elastico Finale II - The reworked Nike Elastico Finale takes on the most radical new paint job of the bunch, the new Orange/Volt/Citrus colourway makes a big statement on pitch and is constructed for ultimate performance on hard-court surfaces, such as indoor football. The focus of this shoe is lightweight and flexibility.
The shoe is 22% lighter than the previous Elastico model. The more flexible outsole features a herringbone and dot design to help maximise traction and improve underfoot ball control. The Nike Elastico Finale II also features a breathable perforated upper and heel, and a redesigned eyestay to optimize comfort and feel.
Both the Elastico and Bomba FC247 shoes feature NikeSkin technology, as found on the previous editions and the HyperVenom. The advanced material forms to the foot for a closer fit, while an internal support band provides midfoot lockdown. The 3D textured upper is incredibly soft and flexible, reducing the hard spots of the older Elastico and providing superior touch.
Nike Bomba Finale II - The Bomba Finale II has received a Blue/Black/Blue paint job after launching in a striking orange and black colourway and is built for brute force at high speed. The Bomba is built for the physical nature of outdoor five-a-side football including astro-turf and hard grass pitches.
The new Bomba Finale II has been redesigned to tackle some of the issues players experienced with the previous shoe. Firstly the shot shield has been removed and replaced with a rubber grind to add grip and durability, while also helping to make the shoe weigh just 268g.
The Bomba Finale features Nike's new NikeSkin technology and is also wrapped in All Conditions Control tech to ensure the footwear performs to it's maximum in both wet and dry conditions. NikeSkin is the brand's big discovery of the year, the material is super light and supple shaping itself to your foot for the perfect customised fit and increased ball feel.
Nike Lunar Gato II - The new Lunar Gato II colourway is labelled Volt/Black/White, another typically bright Nike futsal shoe which is designed for a fast and dynamic game on all surfaces, with ultimate comfort at the heart of the design. This is the toughest shoe of the FC247 collection, ideal for street football on concrete.
The Lunar Gato II has be refined to create the ultimate in comfort and cushioning. The main areas of the Lunar Gato Nike have looked to improve on are the shoes fit and stiffness. They've made the shoe tangibly softer and more flexible, upgrading to a premium goat leather on the vamp and medial forefoot for great ball feel and touch.
Fused mesh 'Hyperfuse' panels lock down the mid-foot to maximize lateral support and gives the Lunar Gato II a fine balance of lightweight and comfort. Nike have also added a articulated rubber outsole from the first generation Lunar Gato to improve agility.
