Nike FC247 Collection: Elastico Finale - Mint/Pink/Lime - Football Boots

The revolution of five-a-side football has ignited a new breed of football shoe. Nike have launched an all new range of football performance and street footwear - titled FC247 - geared for the variety of surfaces on which the small sided game is played, with design innovations specific to respecting playing styles.

A fresh take on their Nike5 family of shoes, the new FC247 collection includes exciting updates in design to the Bomba Finale, Elastico Finale and Lunar Gato. The reworked Nike Elastico Finale, launched in a dynamic Mint/Pink/Lime colourway is constructed for ultimate performance on hard-court surfaces.





The shoes feature 39 percent fewer components and is 22 percent lighter than the previous Elastico model. The more flexible outsole features a herringbone and dot design to help maximise traction and improve underfoot ball control. The Nike Elastico Finale II also features a breathable perforated upper and heel, and a redesigned eyestay to optimize comfort and feel.  





New insights have help guide Nike to create FC247. "As the global population increases, spaces to play 11-a-side are more difficult to come by. We’ve seen a huge increase in players playing more small-sided games, because it’s that much easier to access." - Phil McCartney, Nike Football, VP of Football Footwear.  

Product feedback from the previous Elastico Finale centred on players wanting a softer, more flexible fit throughout the shoe. They desired a closer fit, while maintaining the Elastico's low profile. The focus of this shoe is lightweight and flexibility. This is where Nike have really made a step up.





In a new break-through for Nike, each of their top tier FC247 shoes now feature NikeSkin technology. The advanced material forms to the foot for a closer fit, while an internal support band provides midfoot lockdown. The 3D textured upper is incredibly soft and flexible, reducing the hard spots of the previous Elastico and providing superior touch.

The world's best players also understand the value of the small sided game. Barcelona's Andres Iniesta added, "If I had more free time, I would like to train more with my colleagues on the futsal team. Futsal helps my ball control in tighter spaces."





Nike have always had a strong grip on the Fives market, and with the launch of FC247 they're continuing to innovate the small sided game. The three new shoes - the Bomba Finale II, Elastico Finale II and Lunar Gato II - provide a balance of speed, control, comfort and precision to help improve your game.
