SoccerBible can bring you an exclusive hands on look at the new Grey/Red/Black Nike T90 Laser IV football boots. Set to hit pitches from 17.12.11, Nike's latest T90 colourway is expected to be a huge hit as they land on the feet of Laser stars including Wayne Rooney, Gonzalo Higuian and Wesley Sneijder.
Nike's latest coordinated pitch launch will see the new T90 Laser IV debut across Europe in line with the updated Mercurial, CTR360 and Tiempo. The January 2012 Nike line-up is an impressive one, with the new Grey/Red/Black Nike T90 Laser IV being the pick of the bunch! Check them out and share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
Since their arrival on the scene, the Nike T90 Laser IV has been on a roller-coaster ride, never being too far from the headlines. With the White/Orange/Black launch colourway still dominating the T90 landscape, the Laser IV range was in need of a colour-up! Nike have delivered, creating a colourway that will please fans of bright and dark boots.
New colourways are sometimes designed with certain players in mind. Alexandre Pato and Wayne Rooney certainly won't need any convincing to step foot in the latest colourway! The Grey/Red/Black combination will match up well alongside their respective home strips. AC Milan face Siena this Saturday (17.12.11) while Man Utd travel to QPR.
The T90 playing roster has grown in recent months since the arrival of Nike's fourth generation T90, with more professionals converting to the Nike Laser IV. Alexandre Pato, Daniel Sturridge, Marouane Chamakh and Gonazalo Higuian have all added the Nike power boot to their game, making it one of the ultimate strikers weapons.
The adaptive shot shield technology remains the main feature of the Nike T90 Laser IV. Key contact zones are broken into strips surrounded by shape correcting foam, while Fins reduced in size and height offer a more powerful and natural ball feel. Both zones are designed to flex naturally with ball contact, allowing natural movement of the foot.
The new TPU stud arrangement combines with toe and heel secondary traction. This design allows for superior structural reinforcement and traction on wet and soft ground pitches. A moulded-EVA sock-liner provides the necessary work required to reduce stud pressure and increase on-field comfort. The moulded-EVA sock-liner also provides the boots with a contoured arch and heel support, whilst Poron inserts reduce stud pressure.
The new Grey/Red/Black Nike T90 Laser IV football boots will be given their on-pitch debut this weekend before being made available to order from January 1st. If you want to get your hands on a pair, be prepared to pay around £140 GBP / $200 USD / €160 EURO.
