These new Photo Blue/Platinum/Orange Superfly III Nike football boots are released as the lead color-way of the new Superfly III range. Expect to see some of the world’s biggest stars set out in this bight color-way as they look to electrify opponents!
There have already been some interesting sightings of players wearing the new Nike Superfly III football boots. Ryo Miyaichi, Adam Johnson and Didier Drogba are just some of the players that couldn't wait to get their feet into Nike's latest speed boots! Now that the boots have had their official unveiling, expect to see a lot more of the new Nike Superfly III football boots!
So what's new about the Superfly III soccer shoes? Well it's fair to say that the boots have had more of a visual than technological upgrade from the Superfly II. Much of the same tech remains, but as you'll notice the Superfly III football boots have had a new paint-job!
The new asymmetric, fluorescent lightning bolt design on the new Mercurial Vapor Superfly III football boots replaces the old pattern found on the Superfly II boots. The new pattern is designed to put players in the spotlight. The lightning bolts don't just look cool; they have also been designed to serve a purpose.
The pattern and colors are formatted in a way to enhance visibility to your teammates and everyone else! Ultimately, the new pattern is designed to allow a sides 'play-maker' to spot you quicker and increase his decision making time.
The aim is to create a faster pass rate to strikers and wingers. The visual acuity heel graphic delivers high contrast footwork visibility for split-second decision-making from team-mates and accurate passing. The idea is simple; get noticed, fast. In Nike's words, "The result will be better passes, fewer offside’s and less time for defenders to react. Own the spotlight.''
Many of the same features that Nike introduced in the Superfly II football boots remain. One of the Superfly's main features, the unique adaptive traction system, still features in the Superfly III football boots. The two Nike Sense studs that extend into softer ground are designed to deliver extra grip and enhance agility.
Every technical design element of the Superfly III is constructed to offer superior traction and acceleration. The unique Vapor traction pattern and direct inject dual density heel studs gives rock-steady stability and explosive acceleration. Whereas other boots look to gain speed through minimum weight, the Superfly III is all about accelerating you to your top speed as quick as possible.
Nike's revolutionary stud design on the Superfly III is supported by a carbon fiber chassis, which has been engineered for maximum energy and strength. The exceptionally strong carbon composite tuned chassis helps to deliver increased speed and outstanding support. You may also have noticed that the SFIII now comes with a colored sole-frame.
The upper of the Nike Superfly III football boots is designed using a 3-layer upper construction. The top layer is made up of a tejin synthetic fiber skin. Underneath that layer is a Tejin micro-fibre substrate, which is engineered for the flywire. The final layer is then made from a polyurethane lining.
One of the most unique features of the Nike Superfly soccer shoes is the flywire. The integrated flywire used in the Nike Superfly III football boots provides ultra-lightweight dynamic support. The Tejin synthetic leather maintains durability, improved fit, comfort and performance.
If you want to get your hands on a pair of Nike Superfly III football boots, Nike have priced their newest release at the same amount as the SFII at £275 / $400 / €330. They will be available to pre-order from 19th March.
So there you have it. The official unveil of the new Nike Superfly III football boots! Some will say they're too expensive, some will say they're the best boots ever and some will say they haven't changed at all! Whichever way, the new Superfly III football boots are set to create a huge buzz in the football boot world!
It's hard not to have an opinion when it comes to the Nike Mercurial Superfly. As always, we'd love to hear yours...
