To accompany the release of the new Black/White/Electric Green T90 Laser's, Nike have released
these contrasting Summit White/Black/Metallic Silver K-leather editions. Check out the SoccerBible's First Look Gallery and exclusive photography of the latest addition to the Total 90 series...
These kangaroo leather versions of the Nike T90 Laser III
football boots,
for once provide a striking contrast to the synthetic versions which feature a black upper.
But as a leather boot they retain their classiness, and offer one of the most unique performances available on the market for a leather boot.
The natural material of the T90 Laser III football boots gives an
excellent touch and
feel for the ball on the toe and outer area of the boots, which is further complimented by shape correction foam positioned underneath the leather to help cushion the ball.
As many T90 fans will already know the ShotShield on the Laser III has been divided into two zones. The first
zone maintains an even pressure on the ball at impact for accuracy,
which is through the five flat longitudinal and flexible Instep Pods.
The second zone creates friction and increased ball spin for shooting
and passing. This comes from a number of strategically angled and
raised Fins, with each fin positioned at a different angle and a
different height (0-3mm) to control the swerve of the ball.
Comfort and fit comes from the moulded sockliner with Poron
inserts incorporated for extra cushioning, while the surface texture of
the sockliner and boot collar combine to prevent the foot from slipping within the boot due to it's suede-like texture.
The K leather versions of the Nike T90 Laser III football
boots also benefit from a lightweight TPU outsole, with studs positioned to give structural reinforcement and
traction across firm ground pitches. The redesigned heel
counter provides support and stability with good heel lock, but also
helps the planting foot to stabilise when kicking the ball.
Despite being kangaroo leather, the Summit White/Black/Metallic Silver editions of the Nike T90 Laser III football boots still retail for the same price as their synthetic counterpart at £130
GBP / $200 USD. And you can expect to see these brand new Nike football boots hit the shelves from 1st January, although they are available to pre-order now, and now you've seen them we'd love to hear your opinions...
