With the last colour-way of the Superfly II range coming way back in September with the Cherry boots (excluding the Safari's) its fair to say the Superfly II football boots were due a color upate.
Many players have taken to the Cherry boots across Europe and now these new Black/Orange boots are expected to be seen on the feet of some of the worlds quickest players throughout the winter season! With the most recent colour-ways of the Nike Superfly II football boots being bright, flashy and in-your-face, these newest additions are slightly more toned down.
Of course, as this is just a colour update, nothing has changed tech-wide in this Elite level boot. The carbon-fibre chassis with tough fly-wire upper is all still featured along with the Nike Sense stud.
The major innovation for the Nike Superfly II football boots was the development of the Nike Sense adaptive traction technology. Current in the Elite Superfly II football boots, designers created an adaptive stud that can extend and retract by up to 3mm, based on ground conditions and pressure exerted by the player. This new release Superfly continues with the SenseStud design, even though the professional elite seem unconvinced of the studs advantages yet (see: Cristiano Ronaldo)
The Nike Elite Mercurial Superfly II football boots maintain the desired close fit around the foot without compromising on durability or support.
Next-generation Nike Flywire technology incorporated into the boot’s streamlined upper provides the unique lightweight, strong and more dynamic fit.
The new Black/Orange coloured Elite Nike Vapor Superfly II football boots feature a stronger and tougher performance upper to improve on-field visibility and a re-engineered out-sole to deliver lightweight performance for the world's Elite players.
Nike designers created a Mercurial football boot that provides new levels of performance with nearly four years of game analysis, biomechanical studies and player testing.
The Nike Mercurial Superfly II football boots feature an adaptive traction system for speed on the pitch in all conditions.
2010 has been an interesting year for the Nike Superfly II football boots. They saw tough competition from the adidas F50 adizero football boots with some key Superfly wearers making the switch. Nonetheless the army of Superfly fans continues to grow with each new instalment of the boot.
The explosive Nike Elite Mercurial Vapor Superfly II football boots are the fastest, most innovative and technologically advanced football boots to hit the pitch.
Of course, the unfortunate side to such an Elite level boot is that they will continue to retail for around 275 GBP a pair when they hit selected stores and Nike stores.
