We say this every time a new kangaroo leather versions of the Nike
T90 Laser III
football boots
hits the shelves, but that's because it's so true. The leather versions always provide a sober contrast to the brightly coloured synthetic uppers, making them a suitable choice and preference for players who want the benefits of a power boot, but don't want to shout about it.
However, Nike always try and add some vibrant colour in there somewhere, so this aptly named Black / Silver / Vibrant Yellow release may not be to every
taste, but as another solid K-leather installment for the Laser 3
series players certainly have plenty of options available to them.

As many T90 fans will already know the ShotShield on the Laser III has been divided into two zones. The first
zone maintains an even pressure on the ball at impact for accuracy,
which is through the five flat longitudinal and flexible Instep Pods.
The second zone creates friction and increased ball spin for shooting
and passing. This comes from a number of strategically angled and
raised Fins, with each fin positioned at a different angle and a
different height (0-3mm) to control the swerve of the ball.
The natural material of the T90
Laser III football boots gives an
excellent touch and
feel for the ball on the toe and outer area of the boots, improving ball
control and assisting dribbling. The kangaroo leather is further
complimented by shape correction foam, strategically placed to help even
out the bone structure of the foot for better kicking accuracy.
Comfort and fit comes from the Moulded Sockliner with Poron
inserts incorporated for extra cushioning, and the surface texture of
the sockliner and boot collar has been updated for optimal stickiness,
to protect your foot from slippage and rubbing.
Available in a firm ground only sole plate, the K-Leather version of the Total 90 Laser III boots is certainly going to stand out on pitch with this contrasting colour combo (try saying that three times in quick succession).

boots also feature a lightweight TPU outsole, where the studs are
positioned to give structural reinforcement and
traction across firm ground pitches.
The redesigned heel
counter provides support and stability with good heel lock, but also
helps the planting foot to stabilise when kicking the ball. You can't
miss this part of the boot as it is
finished with an super-sized T90 logo.
Quite which of the headline T90 stars like Wesley Sneijder, Michael Essien
and Rio Ferdinand or Wayne Rooney may sport this colourway will make for some exciting boot spotting.
