Introducing the latest colour combination for the Nike T90 Laser III football boots, an incarnation that's now playing in it's second season, and has really grown in performance and popularity since their original release. Check out our full and exclusive gallery of the Platinum/Orange Blaze/Black colourway...
These new Total 90 Laser football boots are quite a bright and cheery release, that are both visually striking and packed with a host of performance technology. Swerve fins, instep pods, shape correction foam, lighter weight material, a new lacing system and an updated sockliner - are quite an exhaustive list of some of the tech featured for Nike's flagship accuracy football boots.
The stand-out feature of these new T90 Laser III football
boots is the ShotShield, which features Orange Blaze swerve fins contrasted with both the Platinum upper and the Black instep pods. The Instep Pods are designed to be flat to your foot,
to create even pressure distribution when shooting the ball with
accuracy, and their longitudinal and flexible design accommodates an
enlarged kicking area.
The strategically angled and raised Fins,
which really catch the eye in Orange Blaze, are designed to create friction and increased ball spin for shooting and passing.
Each fin is positioned at a different angle and a different height
(0-3mm), to enable the player to control the swerve of the ball in
multi-directional ways, depending on how the player kicks the ball, for
better ball spin and kicking accuracy.
These new Nike T90 Laser III football boots feature a lightweight TPU
outsole with studs positioned to give the structural reinforcement and
optimal traction. The boots feature a redesigned heel counter which
seeks to provide external lock of the heel.
There is also comfort and
fit comes from the Moulded Sockliner with Poron inserts incorporated
for extra cushioning, and the surface texture of the sockliner and boot
collar has been updated for optimal stickiness, to protect your foot
from slippage and rubbing.
We're sure this bright colourway will have a popular following amongst the pro's, and with his love for white boots we might even see Fernado Torres sporting this Platinum colourway. Also look out for fellow T90 Laser wearers Wayne Rooney, Wesley Sneijder, Patrice Evra, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Rio Ferdinand who could also make the change.
This Platinum/Orange Blaze/Black colour Nike T90 Laser III football boots will be available for pre-order from today, 20th September 2010 in the US and 24th September 2010 in Europe.
Unfortunately, they're only expected to be released in a firm ground sole-plate which should hit the shelves around the first week of October, where they will set you back around $200 USD / £130 GBP.
