Introducing the latest colour combination for the Nike T90 Laser
III football boots. As Nike make their way around their colour palette,
these Challenge Red/White/Dark Shadow soccer shoes become the sixth
official release for the Laser accuracy and power series.
Nike already revealed these new Red T90's in North America late last month, so now it's our turn in Europe to check out the next colour release for their Accuracy series...
These
new Total 90 Laser football boots for summer 2010 release are both
visually striking and
packed with a host of performance technology. Swerve fin
technology, instep pods, shape correction foam, lighter weight material,
a new lacing system and an updated sockliner - quite an exhaustive list
of tech for Nike's flagship accuracy football boots.
Unlike its Elite counter part, the "standard" Challenge Red T90 Laser III football boots feature a lightweight TPU outsole with studs positioned to give the
structural reinforcement and optimal traction.
The boots feature a redesigned heel counter which seeks to provide external lock
of the heel. There is also comfort and fit comes from the Moulded Sockliner with Poron
inserts incorporated for extra cushioning, and the surface texture of
the sockliner and boot collar has been updated for optimal stickiness,
to protect your foot from slippage and rubbing.
The visually stand-out feature of these new T90 Laser III football boots are the
Challenge Red ShotShield pods, sat contrasting on the dark swerve fins.
The Instep Pods are designed to be flat to your
foot, to create even pressure distribution when shooting the ball with
accuracy, and their longitudinal and flexible design accommodates an
enlarged kicking area.
Complimenting the Instep Pods are strategically angled and raised Fins,
to create friction and increased ball spin for shooting and passing.
Each fin is positioned at a different angle and a different height
(0-3mm), to enable the player to control the swerve ball in
multi-directional ways depending on how the player kicks the ball, for
better ball spin and kicking accuracy.
We're sure with this colourway in mind the likes of Wayne Rooney, Patrice Evra, and Rio Ferdinand will be wearing these Nike T90 Laser III football boots. As much as the colourway seems spot on made for him, it is unlikely fellow T90 Laser star Fernando Torres will sport these beauties, what with his preference for white soccer boots!
This Challenge Red/White/Dark Shadow colour goes on pre-order today ahead of their general release on the 15th July 2010, and should cost
around £130 GBP / $200 USD when they hit retail.
