The CTR360 Maestri football boots are the exciting new release from Nike. And as we've had our hands on a pair for a little while, the SoccerBible can exclusively reveal the full images, explain the inspiration behind the design, and tell you what you can expect the CTR360 boots to deliver...
The new Nike CTR360 Maestri - the name is Italian for master - has pinnacle performance features designed to deliver 360° control of the ball, and to give the wearer 100% pass completion. To achieve this the creators of the Nike CTR360 Maestri went through the stages of a player - winning the ball, keeping control and distributing the ball.
To receive
the ball Nike have created dampening pods on the outside of the forefoot area, which provide an excellent first touch by cushioning the ball. This zone is further enhanced by the asymmetrical lacing system expanding the ball control area.

With the first touch improved, Nike set about enhancing the players ball control. To do this they created a revolutionary new synthetic leather called KANGA-LITE, a water-resistant material that mimics the supreme ball feel and touch of kangaroo leather whilst maintaining its performance in all conditions.

The 360° ball control has even been considered on the soles of the boots. With unique dual-density fore-foot studs able to grip the ball better without compromising traction, stability or durability. And on the heel, the studs are sharper and stronger to lock down the planted foot when the other is controlling the ball.

With the ball controlled, and the player pivoted and looking to distribute, how can the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots deliver the ball to a team-mates feet? Well, the CTR's feature a rubberised pass pad on the instep of the boots to provide more accuracy when passing the ball. This combines with 'shape-correcting memory foam' giving a larger and more uniform boot-to-ball contact area, for greater precision and delivery of the ball at optimal pace.

To summerise, the new Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots are a true performance boot, Nike have gone back to the drawing board and consulted with professional players to find out what they need a boot to deliver. What they have come up with is a football boot equipped with very unique features, designed to dominate the football pitch. A player wearing the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots is primed to win the ball, keep control and distribute it to dominate play!
The first release of the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots is the
Black/Red/White colourway which evokes memories of the classic AC Milan
team mentality, where the entire team works to win the ball, keep hold
and then dictate play. Definitely a suitable colourway for the first CTR360
football boot, which is available for pre-order now and are expected to hit the shelves from 3rd October for around £120 GBP.
