Joining the hype and excitement of the new Nike Mercurial range, SoccerBible takes a look at the latest exciting football boots release...the Nike Total 90 football boots!
Nike Total 90 Laser football boots have been delivering accuracy and power to the likes of Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres and Wesley Sneijder for the past few seasons! Now these football boots will go full circle as Nike are to release a brand new limited edition tour yellow colourway, reminiscent of the Total 90 Laser football boots originally worn by Wayne Rooney. With Rooney the player SoccerBible has found out will be wearing these new Nike T90 Laser II football boots!
The driving force behind the Nike T90 series is to deliver performance over the total ninety minutes! But since this original design brief the T90 Laser football boots have evolved massively, to become another pioneering Nike football boot.
Nike have developed a unique ShotShield to increase shooting and passing accuracy, from a more dense material and precision rings. And these new Nike Laser II football boots feature a premium-grade synthetic leather upper which has engineered perforation to provide extra breathability, ideal for the summer season ahead of their 4th April release.
Further evolutions of the Nike T90 Laser II football boots include the traction sole plate and the twin lacing system. For the sole plate the stud configuration and shape received a complete re-design, which occured after various professionals returned to Nike after wearing the original Nike T90 football boots requesting increased traction.
The introduction of the V-twin lacing system increases boot fit and comfort, but also means the entire fore-foot area becomes a strike zone. This happens when you tighten the laces and feel the whole boot enclose around, and over, the entire foot.
The tour yellow/black/midnight fog Nike T90 Laser II football boots can be pre-ordered now and are expected to retail around £120. Due to their limited availablity they will be released in the Nike Laser range as worn by the professional footballers but available to everyone.
