New Balance Furon 2.0 "White/Blue/Red" : Football Boots : Soccer Bible

It's a high five for New Balance as they reveal their fifth colourway of the second-generation Furon 2.0 boot. After toying with blackout, whiteouts and a limited edition wrap, New Balance have reverted to the original design found on the launch edition for a crisp tricoloured brush up.

Landing alongside a corresponding Visaro design, the "White/Blue/Red" update will be New Balance's next on-pitch colourway and will feature on the feet of Furon pros such as Alvaro Negredo & Jesus Navas from this weekend. With the New Balance very much still trying to establish the Furon in the boot market to back up the success of the Visaro, it's a safe and typically speedy vibe for their lightweight option. It's still early days for New Balance in their reintroduction into the world of football and they're making steady progress with each drop.



The New Balance Furon 2.0 has focused heavily on comfort and control after issues with the first edition. A huge upgrade on the debut Furon, the second edition features a hybrid mesh upper and Galaxy Sprint Spike inspired collar for an adaptive fit. Top line lacing in introduced for a locked in fit and an ultralight overall feel. In short, it's a much better boot than the first gen.
