Following his switch to Mizuno we caught up with Tottenham full back Kyle Naughton to talk about his relationship with the brand, his aims and ambitions at White Hart Lane this season and what he thinks of his new Morelia Neo boots.
Naughton became the second full back in quick succession from North London to sign for the Japanese brand after Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson joined their ever growing and impressive squad of pro players. Speaking of what he looks for in a boot Naughton explained "I'm currently wearing the Morelia Neo, firstly it's got to be comfortable and then a nice colour and they've got to be light, I'm excited to be a part of Mizuno and I'm looking forward to it."
Naughton has featured in the Premier League, Europa League and League Cup for Spurs so far this season and outlined the club's ambitions for the current campaign "We're not doing too badly as a team. Team goals for this season are that we want to do well in everything we play in, the Premier League, we'd like to win the Europa League - that's always been a goal of ours and we want to do well in the cup games too."
Naughton first began wearing the Morelia Neo at the beginning of the season and has gone on to wear the orange, yellow, white and now black/lime versions. The Neo has attracted a big following since its official launch and is popular with players who seek the lightest possible football boot without having to sacrifice a leather upper.
