Mizuno Morelia Neo 'Made in Japan' Editions - Blue/White/Blue - Football Boots

Mizuno have landed an exclusive colourway to their prestigious 'Made in Japan' edition Morelia Neo boots. Combining signature aesthetics, with top-end craftsmanship and the highest grade materials the 'Japan Collection' Neo delivers the exact same specifications and processes offered to Mizuno's pro athletes.

The material used on the 'Japan Collection' is highest afforded to leather boots and usually reserved for endorsed athletes such as Hulk and Thiago Motta. The Kangaroo leather is Scotchguard, meaning during the tanning and conditioning of the material it's treated with a liquid silicone to be waterproof, stain resistant and more durable.





Visually the only feature of the Japan collection Neo's to differentiate from the standard versions, is the 'Made In Japan' text on the tongue but the blue paint job lands as an exclusive to the 'Made in Japan' editions and will not feature on the standard Neo boots. Colourways aside, it's all about the under the bonnet features on the Japan editions.





The biggest difference in the craftsmanship of the Mizuno Japan collection boots is that they're kept in the last for 24 hours, which allows the upper of the boot to form a better shape and therefore offer a better fit. When you compare that to the timings for a standard manufactured boot, which is just 20 minutes, then it's obvious the Japan editions get the full pro treatment. In the time it takes to form one Japan edition boot, seventy-two standard versions could be made.





The Mizuno Morelia Neo Japan Collection is one of the most high-end footwear releases on the market, bringing the everyday player as close as possible to the professionals players treatment. The Japan editions aren't about visuals (the fact they look class too is a bonus), they're all about offering the most supreme level of engineering, at the same level as a professional endorsed athlete.

Obviously all this extra quality and care on the Mizuno Morelia Neo Japan Editions comes with a heftier price tag, so what's the damage? Well, you'll be looking at around £285 a pair. The quality is undisputed and there's no doubt they're more durable than the standard issues but for twice the price it's a tricky purchase to consider.
