We've been saying this for a long time now, the Mizuno Morelia Neo is one of the most underrated boots on the market and if you've been pondering over a switch to Mizuno's speed boot then this new White/Black/Diva Blue paint job could well be the deal clincher.
If the words 'synthetic' and 'leather-like' are they only things putting you off speed boots then you'll be happy to know that the Morelia Neo is one of the few modern speed boots that stays true to classic kangaroo leather. The use of premium natural material across the Neo is one of its strongest assets. The k-leather provides a luxurious, quilted feel as the stitch lines enhance the sense of touch. All that quality weighs in at a feather light 170g. Impressive.
The Mizuno Morelia Neo has been one of the games breakthrough speed boots. A super lightweight boot that packs no gimmicks, the Neo is built with traditional Mizuno values at its core. They have gained a real following since first launching back in 2011. They're one of the lightest full leather boots on the market - an attribute that has attracted flocks of leather enthusiasts.
To deliver lightweight speed traction, Mizuno use their engineered Pebax sole plate – much lighter than TPU - which provides enhanced durability and greater flexibility. Using different densities in the heel and forefoot, Mizuno have created a flexible and rigid supportive unit for the Neo.
The last two Neo releases have dropped in red and orange, but the latest colourway is a clean, ice cold white and blue paint job that will look the muts nuts on pitch but without being two garish and flash. The Neo is one of the best looking (this colourway in particular) and best performing boot on the market and any player that makes the switch will not regret it.
The new white/black/diva blue drop is the eighth colourway to feature on the Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots, which is worn by the likes of Brazil's Hulk and Paraguay's Roque Santa Cruz. At a reasonable price of around £129.99 the Mizuno Neo is a serious contender for players eyeing up a new pair of speed boots for the 2013/14 campaign.
The new White/Black/Blue Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots are available to pre-order now at selected online retailers including Pro-Direct Soccer. Thoughts on the new colourway? Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
