The Mizuno Morelia Neo returns for its fifth colour-up in no ordinary style. We can give you an exclusive first look at the new Yellow/Blue Morelia Neo – one of the world's lightest and brightest leather football boots.
It's another bold statement for the popular Morelia Neo line that has already been subjected to some bright colourways. They're another demonstration of Mizuno's willingness to experiment with bright designs – something that's quite common in the speed market! Take a look and let us know what you think.
In a world of synthetic alternatives, the Neo is one of the few modern boots that stays true to classic kangaroo leather. Weighing just 170g, the Neo undercuts the majority of speed boots out there. They've been a revelation since storming onto the scene.
Mizuno's pedigree is their leather uppers. The use of premium natural material across the Neo is one of its strongest assets. The k-leather provides a luxurious, quilted feel as the stitch lines enhance the sense of touch and provide a secure fit.
To deliver lightweight speed traction, Mizuno use their engineered Pebax sole plate – much lighter than TPU - which provides enhanced durability and greater flexibility. Using different densities in the heel and forefoot, Mizuno have created a flexible and rigid supportive unit for the Neo.
The Yellow/Blue Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots are a December release and will retail worldwide for around £150 GBP / $210 USD / € 180 EURO. Let us know what you think of the boots. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
