Coming at you like the Japanese bullet train are the new Mizuno Wave Ghost football boots, in a brand new Silver/Orange/Black colourway.
The Wave Ghost football boots are Mizuno's speed boot, which is actually lighter than the Nike Mercurial Vapor V. Mizuno's most ambitious football boots to date, the Wave Ghost enters a competitive market offering a host of unique technologies.
Mizuno have introduced a new upper material to the world of football boots called Kuraray. Combining the best of natural kangaroo leather and synthetic material, in an upper that is both lightweight and offers good ball feel. According to Mizuno, the Kuraray material is four times stronger than k-leather and have two times lower water absorption than a synthetic upper.
To compete with Nike Vapor and Puma v1.08, Mizuno have created their own unique traction sole-plate. Which is engineered on a two-piece outsole, with the studs positioned and shaped to assist player movement, acceleration and turning.
The Mizuno Wave Ghost football boots have a unique lace-cover, which fastens with velcro down one side to create a clean boot-to-ball surface. And on the in-step of the boot, the Mizuno badge is made from a rubberised material to help ball control.
A comfortable and competitive boot, the Mizuno Wave Ghost football boots have been available since June. And have been making their debuts across the continent, notably in Spain and Portugal. The new Silver/Orange/Black colourway is a flash looking addition to a unique boot range, which will be available from 10th July for a very reasonable price of £100 GBP.
