Jose Mourinho Talks Champions League With adidas Football - Football News

Ahead of tonight's UCL fixtures, Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho sat down exclusively with adidas' online Champions League destination, GamedayPlus, to talk about their clash with Süper Lig champions Galatarasay and the progress Chelsea are making during his second reign as Blue boss.
 

Talking about the Champions League Mourinho has no doubts about where the competition ranks. "The Champions League is the competition that I think everyone wants to win in football. At club level it's the biggest competition, the competition where normally every big club is. So obviously it is the competition that every big club wants and every player, every coach dreams to win."

Tonight's game will see Jose come up against old pals Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder who lead an opposition that he knows well. "Last season I played against Galatasaray so I know well the team, I know well the atmosphere, I know well the difficulties to play against them."

"They are a very experienced team, top players, big atmosphere at home and people that know how to compete and people that know how to create difficulties. And for sure by playing the first at Istanbul they are going to give us a difficult time."
