adidas 11Pro adiPURE Football Boots - Black/White/Slime - Football Boots

After launching the new generation 11Pro adiPURE as part of the Samba collection adidas have taken a step towards the silo's heritage roots by releasing a toned down black/slime colourway reminiscent of the adiPURE of old.

The latest release of the redesigned 11Pro features a classic black Taurus leather upper, which accommodates the famous three stripes in white, a look that will please players who miss the traditional adidas leather boot look.





The adiPURE range has developed from the first model in 2007 and the technical features make it a boot of modern heritage. Quilted with a premium, ultra-soft and ultra-light Taurus leather the 11Pro is crafted to deliver premium comfort and remains one of football's finest leather boots.





The identity of the silo is brought to life on the heel where '11Pro' wraps around the back of the boot, standing out on the slime backdrop, which gives the boot some added flavour along with the matching laces. The Samba launch colourway had some players wondering if the 11Pro had moved away from a heritage appearance but this black/slime update is reassurance that adidas are still providing a classic alternative.

Tech wise the new 11Pro uses memory foam to allow the foot to mould into the boot for a custom fit. An all new outsole with a comfort frame is introduced for better pressure distribution, and a smaller stud configuration is used for maximum grip and acceleration.





The 11Pro is now the only real adidas silo left that features a predominately leather upper and the change in direction back to heritage town is backed up by the fact that the new generation adiPURE does not feature a miCoach cavity; all the time and effort in the design and production of this boot has been centred around comfort.

A top colour update for the 11Pro that ties in nicely with the more toned down adidas colourways that have appeared since the dust settled on the excitement of the Samba launch. For players who criticised adidas for loud and vibrant launch paint jobs on the Samba pack, it's fair to say the Three Stripes have looked after you with this one.
