To celebrate the 2013 MLS All-Stars game, adidas have created limited edition Nitrocharge, Predator and adizero f50 boots for their All-Star players to wear when they take on Roma. The brand have a tradition creating one off boots for the All Stars games and this year they've served up three distinctive designs.
The 18th consecutive MLS All Stars match will be held in Kansas on Wednesday 31st July. The squad is made up of the very best players the MLS has to offer and they'll be taking on Serie A giants Roma. It'll be the first time an MLS All Stars team has faced a non-British opposition and adidas are ensuring their players will stand out by tooling them up with these unique boots.
Two of the MLS All Stars will be wearing the limited edition white/pink/green f50 adizero. Philadelphia Union's Jack McInerney and Vancouver Whitecaps striker Camilo Sanvezzo will be the men in lightweight speed boot, which is arguably the most toned down design.
The eccentric Green/Purple/Electricity camo print Nitrocharge will be worn by Tony Beltran; the Real Salt Lake defender will be the only player on show reppin' the brands new silo which features a green upper with electricity energysling and stripes. The unique camo print is slapped on the side of the boot for ultimate on pitch presence.
The adidas Predator LZ also adopts a camo print using the same colours as the Nitrocharge. The All Stars supplied with the LZ are Omar Gonzalez of LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounds' DeAndre Yedlin and Graham Zusi of Sporting Kansas City.
It's a big test for the MLS men facing such established opposition but it's a test they'll be looking forward to and one where a positive result can prove the strength of the league. If you're watching the game on Wednesday, you'll have no problem spotting the adidas players, that's for sure.
