Snapshot - a new iPhone app from adidas - allows fans to film their shots with friends and calculate the speed, angle and flight time of the ball - sounds like fun. After all, the one thing we're really interested in is how hard we can smash a ball. Unveiled today by adidas, Snapshot is the world's first football tracking app.

Featuring built in examples from Gareth Bale and others, the App allows you to record and compare your best efforts against some the world's best. Features of the app include real time and super slow-motion video playback and visual effects. The app allows photos and videos of shots to be uploaded to Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

The app is available in 18 languages and downloadable on the iPhone and iPod touch from The App Store.
