On our third consecutive day of new football boot releases adidas bring us two new updates for the adipure 11pro. Just like yesterday's adizero f50 paint jobs, the 11pro's have been given the black and white treatment. This time with a touch of gold for a more classic feel.
adipure 11 pro's are the boot of choice for players who prefer a classic looking, leather based boot teamed with modern technology and performance and it's good too see adidas play up to this position in the market. The styling of the Running White/Black/Metallic Gold and Black/Black football boots manages to give an old school feel yet still look current.
The Black/Black colourway in particular could prove to be popular given that it's practically a complete blackout boot. There's always a lot of love for a blackout and these should be no different with the colourway sitting perfectly alongside the boots heritage aesthetic. That doesn't mean we're not fans of the White/Black/Metallic Gold version though, the three colours combine well to produce a classy looking white boot.
Aside from the new paint jobs the adidas adipure 11pro soccer cleats have plenty to offer. A soft Taurus leather, which was a success on previous Predator ranges, offer excellent comfort and ball feel for the likes of Champions League winner Philip Lahm.
The Taurus leather upper is interrupted though, with a midfoot synthetic saddle. The anatomically shaped saddle, featuring the 3-Stripes, provide the adipure 11Pro football boots with excellent midfoot stability.
Under the bonnet comfort is provided by an anatomically moulded EVA insole, similar to the one featured in the adipure IV, but with the benefit of flexzones in the forefoot to assist movement and improve fit. A soft suede synthetic leather lining provides additional comfort, whilst reducing any foot movement within the boots for a more secure fit.
The Sprintframe features a more conical stud shape when compared to the f50, and is a one-piece lightweight engineered outsole which provides a balance between lightweight, acceleration and stability. Such was adidas' confidence in the performance benefits of the revolutionary Sprintframe, that each silo now accommodates the lightweight outsole.
The introduction of adidas' miCoach technology, housed in the boots outsole, has brought the six year old Silo into the modern era, keeping it fresh and relevant. The adipure 11pro is a high quality modern boot that throws a cheeky nod to the old school through top class materials and understated styling.
The new Black/Black and Running White/Black/Metallic Gold adidas adipure 11pro football boots are available to order from selected online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. What do you think of the new colourways? Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
