New Predator LZ Colourway Released - White/Black/Red - Football Boots

adidas have ditched the green with the launch of a new White/Black/Red colourway for the Predator LZ. This is the third paint job for the new Predator since its release in May and offers a good looking alternative to previous editions.

A mainly white boot with a bit of black and red thrown in has become a bit of a classic colourway for adidas over the last decade. The new Predator LZ may be anything but classic in design but the new paint job is as close as you'll get to tradition without going to the famous black/red/white colourway.





We recently tested the Predator LZ and just like the Nitrocharge the adidas boot came out hugely in favour. Particular highlights included the enlarged 'Sweet Spot' lethal zone that provided effortless spin and the fantastic grip supplied by the boots surface helping to control first touches with finesse.





For nearly two decades, adidas have crafted subtle evolutions of their original 1994 Predator while, for the most part, maintaining its unmistakable identity. But this is rapidly changing and the adidas Predator is starting to look fairly different.   





Since the extremely popular adiPower Predator, adidas have moved the boot further away from the traditional Predator mold. While the new Predator bears the same title as its predecessor, the latest LZ execution brings further quirks and twists in a remoulded package.



Much like the last model, the new Predator LZ houses five key performance zones, each designed, engineered and placed according to their specific function. Dribble, first touch, sweet-spot, drive and control/pass. Five zones that combine to create the ultimate control boot. After all, that's what the modern Predator boot is.
