Adidas land their 7th colourway on the latest model of the f50 adizero series just in time for the Champions League Final. We've already seen Bastian Schweinsteiger wear them to pick up his Bundesliga medal and now adidas have officially revealed the new colourway labelled as Infrared/White/Black.
Apparently there's a game on at Wembley on the 25th of May and adidas have lined up f50 stars Schweinsteiger and Arjen Robben in the new colourway, which coincidently, or not as the case may be, is a quality match for the new Bayern home shirt.
Brands love a big game to release a new boot and the Champions League final will be littered with new colourways and silo's looking to take centre stage, including the f50, Nitrocharge and Pred LZ. Heading into the Champions League final last season adidas failed to tempt Schweinsteiger out of his trusty adiPure III boots but we've been assured the German playmaker will lace up in the Infrared colourway to take on Dortmund.
But will they be released in leather? Yep, adidas haven't neglected those of you that dig a leather upper. The synthetics featured here will also be available in a Goleo Calf leather edition. The usual f50 suspects will all slip into the colour including Suarez when he's not suspended for eating humans, Arsenal's Podolski and they'll be a decent match for Gareth Bale in his United kit next season. Right Spurs fans?
Under the bonnet it's the usual stuff again from the f50. Single-layer synthetic to reduce weight for added ball feel and touch, interior Sprintweb to increase lateral stability and support across the mid-foot and the micoach cavity to tell you you're not working hard enough, all wrapped up in a splash of Infrared. Nice.
The new Infrared/White/Black adidas F50 adizero football boots are available to pre-order now at selected online retailers including Pro-Direct Soccer and are due out a couple of days after the Champions League Final.
