For the first time in football, fans across the globe can see how they compare to some of the best players on the greatest stage in football. Over the course of the season, adidas will be releasing exclusive performance data from a number of players, such as Real Madrid duo Kaka and Angel Di Maria, German defender Philipp Lahm and AC Milan playmaker Riccardo Montolivo, to give fans the chance to compare their in-game stats alongside the professionals after every UEFA Champions League fixture.
A range of adidas players will all be wearing miCoach Speed_CellTM in each fixture to capture a range performance metrics, including speed, distance, number of sprints and intensity. To test the all-round skill of aspiring footballers, one specific metric, from one adidas player, will set the benchmark for fans to match – or better and prove they are UEFA Champions League level.
