The adidas 11Pro SL has received the super-slick stealth treatment to combine lightweight innovation with a classic heritage feel. The Black/Black/Pop 11Pro SL tips the scales at a mere 180g making it 25% lighter than the standard versions. The SL may have shed some excess weight but adidas have ensured that no quality has been lost on the 11Pro SL by featuring a K-Leather upper to keep it firmly in the heritage boot category.






The forefoot and tongue of the adidas 11Pro SL is constructed from soft K-Leather, an upgrade from the Taurus leather used on the standard issues and features adidas' revolutionary single layer Sprintskin synthetic. The two materials combine from front to back, with the Sprintskin providing the necessary lightweight in the heel area.





The adidas 11Pro SL football boots feature a 360 degree support saddle which offers increased stability during lateral movements. To improve directional grip at high speeds the 11Pro SL is designed with a triangular traxion stud configuration (also found on the adizero) rather than the conical stud shapes on the standard issues.





The anatomically moulded EVA insoles absorb impact as the foot strikes the ground providing superb cushioning and reducing the risk of injury. As with the standard 11Pro, the SL features a miCoach cavity as adidas continue to evolve their retro boot silo with technological improvements that take nothing away from the retro vibe but simply equip the boots for the modern game.






The new Black/Black/Pop adidas 11Pro SL is available to pre-order now for a December 3rd release. You can order your boots for around £175 GBP / €215 EURO / $270 USD.
