We admit these boots have been around for a couple of weeks, but if you haven't seen them here's your chance for a close-up look at the latest F50 adizero boot. It's a slightly different look for these Black/Infrared/Pink boots, which are being called Graphic versions.
Without becoming a second or third incarnation, the F50 adizero has managed to reinvent itself over the last two years, keeping the boots looking fresh on-pitch. The Graphic version is the latest variation on the look, and it's not been confirmed if the new design will be repeated, or if in fact it herald's the end of the first generation adizero.
Famous for bringing new technology and lightweight to the game, the f50 adizero has also become renowned for its catalogue of eccentric colourways that we've either come to love or hate! We don't think there'll be too much controversy around this latest release, with the adidas team having delivered a stand-out design, but when it comes to speed boot colourways, it's hard to please everyone!
The construction of the adidas F50 adizero miCoach soccer shoes is built around three key features – Sprintskin, Sprintframe and the all new Sprintweb. The Sprintweb – subtle on these versions in the Black colour - is an advancement on the TPU Bottom Frame from the previous adizero Prime. The Sprintweb offers increased lateral stability and support, especially across the mid-foot, to transfer the forces from the outsole to the upper.
The adiLite Twin material is retained for the 'Sprintskin' upper, as it's been a hugely successful single-layer synthetic which reduces weight and gives improved ball feel. For this new generation of the adizero, the upper has been given a more textured finish to improve ball control and touch.
The 'Sprintframe' outsole is still a revolutionary one-piece chassis; thin, flexible and lightweight, the 'Sprintframe' is the main source of the adizero's speed. Retaining the heel support, the Speed Cell cavity adds to the rigidity you need in the mid-foot area, whilst there is still plenty of flex where needed.
The introduction of miCoach technology continues to change the boot game, with more players jumping on the miCoach bandwagon. By delivering precise information direct to your computer, the chip allows you to track and upload performance data including speed, max speed, number of sprints, distance, and distance a high intensity levels.
