Following on from the Blue/White/Energy release headlined by Lionel Messi, adidas' latest colour-up offers a striking alternative that may favour more adidas fans.
February may be the month of the adizero, with two new colourways set to establish a strong on-pitch presence. Both the recently launched Blue/White/Energy and the featured Phantom/Electricity/Energy boots will offer adizero pro's with two new alternatives to the original launch colourways that will gradually be faded out.

The boots remain the lightest on the market as well as being one of the most visible on pitch when the weekend matches take centre stage. While a number of pro's opt for the boots leather alternative, the synthetic range carries a strong following for those after the ultimate in lightweight performance.
As recently revealed by Dani Alves' El Clasico miCoach stats, the introduction of miCoach technology has changed the boot game. By delivering information direct to your computer, the chip allows you to track and upload performance data including speed, max speed, number of sprints, distance, and distance a high intensity levels. Using 360 degree movement, the memory stores all of your stats during a game for up to seven hours.
The new Phantom/Electricity/Energy miCoach football boots aren't too far removed from the Black/White/Electricity adizero Prime in terms of colourway. The boot that acted as the supporting role to the Warning/Black/White release in early 2011 saw popular player uptake with f50 stars including Karim Benzema. For the Real Madrid forward, the new Phantom/Electricity/Energy might be the colourway that finally tempts him into the redesigned miCoach boots!

The boots will be available for around £150 GBP / €210 EURO / $200 USD. Alternatively you can purchase the bundle including the miCoach Speed Cell for £200 GBP / €245 EURO / $270 USD.
