The original RS7 Pro was met with a resounding thumbs-up from football fans and the latest design for the adidas RS7 Pro II raises the game once more for adidas' lightest ever Rugby boot.
Evolving the look of the original adidas RS7 Pro, the updated design includes larger three-stripe branding on the instep alongside a newly introduced RS7 logo. The same synthetic printed application on the SprintSkin upper remains, designed to offer improved control when kicking in wet conditions.
Much like the adidas f50 adizero, the new adidas RS7 Pro II has been designed with adidas' revolutionary ultra lightweight SprintSkin upper and sprintframe outsole. The SprintSkin upper is designed to fit and feel like a second skin for maximum ball feel, minimum weight and maximum comfort. Asymmetrical lacing provides a larger kicking surface and more foot-to-ball control.
New features to the adidas RS7 Pro included the TPU Support Bands on the interior of the boots, providing greater stability and support for sharp, sudden changes of direction. For a secure fit, the adidas RS7 Pro boots feature an innovative 3D Puff Print on the heel lining, helping to prevent heel slippage.
The adidas RS7 Pro's Sprintframe utilises hollow core construction to strip out unnecessary weight, making it 50% lighter than other TPU rugby boot outsoles. Available only in a SG sole-plate, the adidas RS7 Pro II features rounded aluminium screw-in studs for optimal traction on wet surfaces, while fixed triangular Traxion studs allow sharper breaking and instant acceleration.
Weighing just 165g, the new adidas RS7 Pro II boots are a real contender in the speed market! The Blue/Electricity colourway is available to order now from selected retailers.
