The new adi5 shoes have been available for a couple of months now and since their release have been met with a great response. A unique looking turf trainer, the adi5 shoes feature technology bespoke to the increasingly popular 5-a-side game.

The upper of the new adi5 shoes also features a TOUCH COMPOUND grid on the vamps for enhanced multi-directional ball control.
Breathability and flexibility of the new adi5 shoes is enhanced through the extreme lightweight upper construction that uses a combination of synthetic/mesh mix.
The adi5 turf shoes feature a pre-moulded EVA mid-sole with adiPRENE inserts in the heel for added comfort and shock absorption.
adiPRENE is a highly viscous cushioning material that responds to the different needs of the heel and forefoot. adiPRENE works by absorbing impact in the heel, providing superior cushioning and protection. By doing so, it lowers the risk of injuries by reducing impact upon initial heel contact.
With the heel having to absorb up to 8 times our own body weight, support in this area of the foot is crucial. adiPRENE is adidas' solution to reducing as much impact shock as possible while playing. During off-balance landings, adiPRENE offers greater shock absorption with better injury prevention.
